I developed a style of shooting footwear that was not typically utilized in the early 2000’s. Lowering the camera all the way to the ground made the product look larger than life - taller than mountains. This stood out as a major difference from the generic footwear images you see at 12 inches above the ground - an angle that can make the most elegant design look frumpy and stale. Eventually, some of the images I created would be featured in the likes of WIRED, People, Women’s Health, AdWeek, INC Magazine, and more. We had hundreds of models and thousands of photos. Here are a few of my favorites.
